After only a month, more then 300,000 users requested 15 million+ pages using the new mobile browser – BOLT!

BOLTThe mobile web browser race doesn’t stop despite the recession. Opera Software is the single most active player, but Skyfire and the new contender to the game, Bitstream’s Bolt, are also giving their best to grab users’ attention.

That said, Bitstream recently issued a “we’re all proud” press release, saying that after only four weeks since their mobile web browser, BOLT, became publicly available in beta – more than 300,000 users requested 15 million+ pages.

That’s a great news for Bitstream and honestly, I would love to see them flourishing. Although I still rely on Opera Mini for most of my mobile web browsing, I can easily imagine switching to Bolt as soon as that “beta” sign is removed. Having a reliable web browser is a must where I stand, and in that sense I’ll watch closely to all the news coming from Bitstream. Stay tuned…
