Sony Ericsson CS5, CS8 Cyber-shot in works?

Sony Ericsson CS8

Here’s another “in works” story/rumor. Apparently, Sony Ericsson is working on two new Cyber-shot phones that will be called CS5 and CS8. From the name itself, we should be aware that these babies will pack a 5 and 8 megapixel cameras, respectively — which will most probably be paired with “Cyber-shot classic” technologies such as Smile Shutter, Face detection and Photo fix. However, what makes these devices stand out from others in the series is the fact that they should run Android!

Having a great camera on a smartphone is something we, the power users, looove. Let’s hope there some merit in this story, and the existence of two WAP profiles go in that direction. And now when Sony Ericsson is a member of the Open Handset Alliance, I don’t see a reason why this wouldn’t happen. I’ll keep my fingers crossed…
