The new-ish art of “messaging and walking,” not to be confused with the banned practice of “messaging while driving,” takes some skill. It can be hard to keep an eye on the path in front of you while trying to tap out a text message or email to your friend. So, in a bid to give “messaging and walking” artists the tools they need to continue their trade, Phase2 Media has released their new Email ‘N Walk iPhone application.
Email ‘N Walk is a simple iPhone application that allows you to type out an email while keeping an eye on the path in front of you. The iPhone app uses the iPhone’s camera to display a live-view of what’s in front of you as you tap away on your iPhone’s keyboard – it essentially overlays an email client on top of the iPhone’s camera “viewfinder,” acting as a window into the world just ahead of your toes. Never again will you run over an innocent dog because you were too busy getting the down-low on the night’s festivities.
