There are no doubts in my mind Nokia have big hopes for its new flagship device – N97. That said, I was not surprised to spot 5 fake N97s in the last few weeks. Some of them have their own “branding” like Nckia and Nokla, while some other simply say “N97” on the top of the device. Moreover, we see that of all the clone N97s, there are some with keyboard (Nckia N97) while others are all-touchscreen devices (Nokla N97).
As it gets harder and harder to spot a fake device, buyers need to examine the phone carefully prior to pulling any cash/cards out of their pockets/wallets. Sure it may sound like a good deal, but if it’s too good to be true, you’re probably looking at a clone device which doesn’t come even close to the “real deal.” Here are some shots of the fake Nokia N97s, which we advise you to look carefully and keep following our “this week in fake devices” series. 😉
