It’s funny what people will line up for these days, isn’t it?
So yeah, there was a lot of noise about the iPhone 3G S this week, but all of the other big names were sure to crowd the day with their own launches to shoulder their way into the spotlight. RIM let loose the BlackBerry 9630 Tour, Samsung unloaded five handsets in a remarkable display of confusion, and LG also squeezed out an E71ish device this week. Will and I also go over the rash of augmented reality apps that were popping up and the role of magnetic compasses in the proliferation of similar types of apps. You might have heard that we gave away three iPhone 3G Ses (in gift certificate form) to some lucky readers this week – this go-round we’re catching our breath and giving away some IntoMobile t-shirts to three lucky readers. Drop a comment, and you’re in!
Speaking of a new BlackBerry, this week’s poll is fielding your opinions on the upcoming lineup. There’s a lot of new BlackBerrys on the way – which one tickles your thumbs?
Music by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, as featured on Tap Tap Revenge for the iPhone.
