Verizon Wireless subscribers, feast your eyes on this piece of BlackBerry eye-candy. The BlackBerry Tour 9630 has arrived, and we’ve had the pleasure of putting our grubby mitts all over the Bold-esque BlackBerry from Research In Motion (RIM). Behold the BlackBerry Tour unboxing gallery and video!
The most recognizable feature of the BlackBerry Tour is probably the curved QWERTY keyboard accented by chrome “guitar fret” strips. But, the Tour is more than just a keyboard. Underneath the striking matte-black finish and chrome accents lie both a GSM and a CDMA radio, allowing the Verizon Wireless smartphone to roam on any GSM network in the world (with full 3G data connectivity to boot!). The display packs pixels 480 wide by 360 high, making for a brilliantly high-res picture. The 3.2-megapixel camera is complemented by an LED flash. And, the integrated GPS receiver pulls down location data from above.
The Verizon BlackBerry Tour is available for $199.99 with new 2-year contract. Full review to follow. For now, enjoy the pics and vid!
