The Android Market has been open for long enough that people have become used to its look and feel. But, that may soon change. New photos have popped up that show a refreshed Android Market design. The photos come from an Android user with access to one of Motorola’s unreleased Android-powered Motorola Sholes smarpthones. The new Android Market interface will apparently feature buttons for Top Paid, Top Free and Just In application filters, and will display a list of the most popular apps for each category.
Motorola is set to announce their Android offerings at a press event on September 10th. Many are expecting to see Motorola unveiling their Motorola Sholes and/or Motorola Morrison handset at the event. We may even see Motorola showing off the future Android Market at the event. The Motorola Sholes will probably be running the Eclair build of Android, so it stands to reason that the updated Android Market you see here will be included with Eclair when it goes live later this year.
All eyes are on Motorola’s September 10 event!
