Guardian Newspaper iPhone App looks very good indeed

One of my fellow editors (Simon!) alerted me to the presence of this – the Guardian newspaper iPhone App! We *think* it’s a new one, certainly I’ve not heard of it before – but at any rate, it works very nicely indeed!

There’s a stack of features on-board the App, including support for offline news-reading, plus also Podcasts. For those of you not familiar with the Guardian, they have quite an active media division (very active, judging by this App!), and so the integration of their other news streams in to the App has been done very nicely indeed.

There’s a YouTube video actually that describes things very succinctly, which I’ve embedded below also. Suffice to say I think for the cost of a couple of newspapers (App cost in the UK is £2.39), the App represents excellent value for money 🙂

You can get the App from the App Store, by searching ‘Guardian’.
