BillShrink Compares ‘The New Generation of Smartphones’

The good folks at BillShrink.com have put together a ‘comprehensive guide’ on some of the hottest smartphone devices on the market today. The list contains the iPhone 3GS, the Palm Pre, the Motorola Droid, AND… *drumroll* the Nexus One. Check out the table/graphic below for the full comparison.

When it comes to flat out cost, the Palm Pre and Nexus One appear to be the winners, with the lowest unlimited plan and average plan total costs. There are some trade-offs, as you can clearly see below… But check it out for yourself and draw your own conclusions. What do you think? Is the Nexus One a flash in the pan, or a game changer?
