With last summer’s successful launch of Wolfenstein RPG on the iPhone, id Software has released Doom II RPG.
Doom II RPG is a direct sequel to 2005’s Doom RPG, which was made available on various mobile platforms. The game allows you to pick one of three characters with their own unique starting attributes, which you can upgrade through experience earned in the game. All of the weapons you’ve come to know and love from Doom make an appearance, such as the Super Shotgun and BFG, but new weapons make an appearance like the questionably lethal ‘Holy Water Pistol’.
Doom II RPG has you battling through 9 maps which include the Moon, Earth, and, of course, Hell and promises over 8 hours of gameplay. The game was also developed by the same team that made Wolfenstein RPG, so if you enjoyed that title, then you’ll probably enjoy this one as well.
