If you’ve been tuning in for the last little while, you’ll know that details and specs of a new BlackBerry slider device have been floating around like mad. It seems to be the ‘hot’ topic in the BlackBerry world as of late, and with good reason. A new BlackBerry slider brings to the table a new form fact we haven’t seen before from RIM… and you know what? So far I’m liking the looks of it.
Yesterday Simon posted the first leaked pics of said BlackBerry Slider, and they were Mr. Blurrycam certified. If you missed them, take another peak right here.
Today, a new batch of pictures has emerged, and the quality is much better. The pictures also put the new slider up against the Curve 8900 for size comparison. The jury is still out on what ‘line’ this full-QWERTY slider will fall into… Some say this is the Storm3, but I highly doubt that. Others say the new slider will be part of the Bold line. I find that to be much more digestible.
Whatever the case, I think we’re on the cusp of an information explosion on this new slider from RIM. Leaks like this almost always blast open the door to new info, pics, rumors, you name it… and if the previously leaked specs are to be believed (OS 6.0, WiFi n, 360×480 display, trackpad navigation), this bad boy may sell like hot cakes. More images after the jump.
