Android-Powered Motorola QUENCH Destined for Rogers?

Motorola QUENCH

You may recall the announcement from Motorola last week, detailing that the Android-powered BACKFLIP, DEXT and QUENCH would all be in their way to Canada on various carriers (TELUS, Bell and Rogers). Coolness for sure. By the end of the week we heard that the BACKFLIP is destined for TELUS, and the DEXT, well, that MOTOBLUR enabled handset is headed straight for Bell. If the ‘Big 3’ are all getting in on the game, this can lead us to only one conclusion: Rogers is due to pick up the Motorola QUENCH.

I’m sitting here staring at my inbox, wondering when I’ll get the word from Rogers. In fact, I suspect once this post is up, I’ll hear from a Rogers contact in short notice. I suspect they can’t announce anything as of yet, but hopefully I’ll be able to nab some more information in the way of launch and pricing details.

Wishful thinking for sure… But seriously, Rogers, can you hear me?
