Coming Soon to webOS: Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X.

Coming soon from the developers at Gameloft is Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. I’m not huge into flying games (although I did enjoy Pilotwings back in the day), but this one looks awesome. Check out the preview video above and tell me it doesn’t look like the real deal.

Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. puts you in the cockpit of 25 different fighter jets in 13 different missions. Fly through places like Washington D.C, Rio (see if you can spot this locale in the video above) and more. Controls for the webOS-based version are said to make use of the thumb-pad and accelerometer. Keep an eye out for some sort of multiplayer action as well. WiFi play seems very likely, but we’ll have to stay tuned for the official launch to find out all the details.

Ready to hop into your F-14 and take to the skies?

Side note: H.A.W.X. was apparently launched back in December for the iPhone… But this is the first I’m hearing of it. I think I’m going to have to give it a try!
