Looks like Fido is running a pretty darn good promo for folks in the greater Toronto area, but it ends at the conclusion of this month… So if you’re a Torontonian looking for a new BlackBerry, better act fast. The deal is for a BlackBerry Curve 8520. Pop on over to Fido and get one for free on a new, 3-year contract. Fido is also waiving the $35 activation fee. Originally the 8520 was going for $50 on the same term, or $350 on a 2-year, and $400 off-contract.
This is all well and good for folks in Toronto, but I’m wondering if folks in other parts of the country have noticed a similar promotion? Yeah, I know, Toronto is the ‘center of the universe’ when it comes to Canadian business (at least that’s what Toronto would have us believe 🙂 ), but I know for a fact this promo would do very well in other large city centers.
