AT&T has officially announced the inclusion of the Palm Pixi Plus (alongside the Pre Plus) to its portfolio during this year’s CTIA Wireless in Las Vegas. While we still don’t know the exact release date, we have spotted the device passing the FCC hurdle. Meaning, it’s now ready to be introduced to the U.S. market!
As you probably already know, the Pixi Plus is a smaller brother of the Pre Plus, running the same webOS and also having a full QWERTY keyboard – that makes it ideal for texting, emailing and cyber schmoozing across social networks. AT&T will sell the device for $49.99 after a mail-in rebate and with a two-year contract. The Pre Plus, on the other hand, will retail for $100 more, again after a rebate and with an agreement.
And if you’re really super interested in grabbing any of the two webOS-powered devices from AT&T, the carrier prepared a special page from where you can sign-up and be notified when both devices start selling.
