Saving Private Sheep is an upcoming hilarious game that is heading to the AppStore and will be available for both the iPhone and iPad — though the version for Apple’s tablet will most likely be released a bit later. Combining logic, dexterity, strategy and humor – Saving Private Sheep is a physics-based puzzler that places you in the middle of the war between wolves and sheep. The sheep fight bloody barbarians who encroach upon their pastures, and they won’t be led to slaughter in silence. And that’s where the operation “Iron Wool” comes in!
You guide the Woolen Warrior through progressively difficult 80 levels into the secure zone. Along the way, you’ll have to destroy the obstacles in the surrounding area to enable the sheep to achieve its objective, to land on land in total safety. The game features complex structures and special blocks (indestructible, explosive etc.) which come in a variety of shapes.
The mentioned 80 levels is just the beginning – new level pack will be released and available through in-app purchase.
Finally, Saving Private Sheep integrates with Openfeint, allowing players to share their scores with the world.
Availability wise, the game should hit the AppStore anytime soon when you will be able to grab it for $2.99. And in case you wonder, we’ve no idea how much the iPad version will cost when released…
