Fans of Linkin Park take notice as you’ll soon be able to fight alongside your favorite band in their upcoming iPhone adventure game, Linkin Park 8-Bit Rebellion.  The game is a collaborative effort between Linkin Park & game developer Artificial Life and it puts the player in an 8-Bit Linkin Park imagined world.  Players are given the task of freeing the world from an evil organization known as PixxelKorp.  8-Bit Rebellion will take players across seven unique districts in the game, with each district themed after a different band member.  The benefit of completing the game is to unlock an exclusive Linkin Park track called “Blackbirds”, which has never been released before.

Linkin Park 8-Bit Rebellion not only features original tracks, but also 8-Bit versions of some of Linkin Park’s more popular songs, like “In The End”, “Faint”, and “No More Sorrow” to name a few.  If you’re in to chiptune style music, then you’ll love hearing 8-Bit versions of Linkin Park’s songs.

8-Bit Rebellion will also feature a number of seamless online features to further enhance the experience.  Players will be able to IM other players, receive in-app messages, hold discussions via message boards, online ranking, and even being able to send gifts to one another.  As of now, no price was given for the game, but it’s expected to be released “soon”.
