AT&T’s Pixi Plus and Pre Plus have gone through the FCC, and now we’re seeing the first signs that folks in stores will be ready to sell them. webOS devices will be arriving at AT&T stores today for training the staff (someone off the store floor, of course) in conjunction with online training. The Pixi Plus and Pre Plus, initially launched on Verizon, build on their predecessors by ditching the little white nipple in the gesture area, improving memory and processor speed, as well as tacking on more storage memory. Otherwise, the experience is largely the same, but keep in mind that there was just a fresh OS update, and paid apps should be available soon.
The price points that were announced was $149.99 for the AT&T Palm Pre Plus, and $49.99 for the Pixi Plus on contract, but things are still hazy when it comes to a launch date, but it should be coming out sometime this summer.
