The Rogers Navigator App, which we told you about a little while ago, is now available for iPhone 3G and 3GS users via the App Store. The app itself is a free download, but if you want to subscribe to the service you’ll need to shell out $4.99 per month (ouch).
Powered by TeleNav, Rogers Navigator promises to be easy to use, offering voice-guided turn-by-turn directions (no, it’s not voiced by Kenny Rogers) and more. Other key features include:
- Real-time traffic updates
- one-click rerouting
- 2D and 3D color maps in portrait and landscape
- ‘Lane Assist’ to help you find the right lane while driving
- Search for nearby businesses, ATMs and WiFi hotspots
- Integrates nicely with your iPhone address book
- … and much more.
While the app is certainly feature-rich, it looks like most customers are completely peeved at the $4.99 monthly pricing. Reviews so far are ‘grumpy’ at best… But if you’re interested, you can check it out via the iTunes link below.
