The open beta for Facebook on webOS has updated to another release, squashing a few bugs, and offering unfettered notifications and keyboard shortcuts. Yeah, that was in the last beta release, but apparently Palm has “also done a lot of polish around the user experience”. This release falls nicely in line with the f8 Facebook conference – it’s too bad Palm couldn’t bust out something with a little more oomph, but of course, webOS is still super-tight with Facebook, populating as many address book fields as possible through the social network (among others) using Synergy.
