By now, we should all know what a gaming behemoth the iPad is in terms of how flawlessly its games perform, as well as its size. As impressive as it is, it still hasn’t been pushed to its limits to see what it’s truly capable of. That is, until today.
Quake III Arena has been used for years as a benchmark to see how well computers can handle games. With that said, a developer has ported Quake III Arena to run on the iPad and it handles the game without a single hiccup! According to the video, the game runs at 60 fps (frames per second), which is the sweet spot for all games to run.
Now if only someone could get Crysis to run on the iPad.
