A company called Hiray Information Technology is out with an iPhone game called Atlantis – legend of the Mermaids. Don’t get too excited when you read “Mermaids” — it’s not an Android title, after all. 😉
The game sees you going through underwater ruins of Atlantis, while you try to rescue kidnapped mermaids and defeat numerous monsters that cross your way. Along the way, you will pick various items such as money, bullets and secret weapons on the surface and from underwater caves.
Speaking of surface, it’s some kind of a safe zone where monsters can’t reach you, so you’ll want to take a little rest there occasionally.
As for the gameplay, Atlantis comes with “standard for iPhone” virtual gamepad at the corners of the screen. The music and sound effects rock, and the animations are pretty cool, too.
