Late last month, Verizon tried selling Push to Talk for $5/month, but today they’ve decided they’d rather give it away, for some reason. The offer is good until June 30th., and lasts the whole length of the contract. Although lots of customers who have the phone already might as well pick up the free service, I wonder how many people outside of an industrial setting will actually use it regularly. Still, this may be enough to encourage folks to pick up a Tour before the Bold 9650 quickly renders it obsolete.
