Nokia has released a new firmware update for its enterprise-friendly E75 smartphone. We’re hearing it’s a small upgrade with usual bug fixes, and performance and stability improvements. One important thing is solved, though – keyboard is way more responsive now. Earlier users reported that the phone could skip key strokes when entering text at a high rate. That shouldn’t be a problem any more.
Other than that, we’ve no idea what else is included with the firmware version 210.12.15. We’re guessing some of the existing apps have been updated and possibly some new installed.
You can update either over-the-air (OTA) or connect your E75 to a PC and then do the same through Nokia Software Updater. For OTA upgrades, we advise you connect via WiFi network to save some cash on bandwidth costs. You can do that by starting Device Manager app from Control Panel -> Phone. Click on “Check for updates” from the Options menu and follow instructions provided on the screen.
As always, it’s advise to backup your data prior to pushing any “Update” buttons…
