BlackBerry Pearl 8130 at FutureShop

With the new BlackBerry Pearl 3G (aka 9100) coming out May 13th on Bell, what do you think they’re going to do with their existing stock of Pearls? Liquidate ’em!? Oh, yeah! Via MobileSyrup, we see a shot of a Bell 8130 in-store (looks to be FutureShop), for a prepaid price of $199.99, with $30 worth of credits. Not bad.

If you’d rather not go the prepaid route, you can pop over to Bell and pick up an 8130 for absolutely nothing. Sure, you’ll have to sign a 3-year contract, and you’ll have outdated technology the moment the new Pearl comes out… But hey, what can you do, the 8100 series has been a great performer for those that prefer it. My advice would be to wait for the 9100 series, but if you simply can’t, or just want a deal on the original Pearl… Have at ‘er.

Stay tuned for more BlackBerry Pearl 3G news as various launch dates approach…
