Considering there’s a LinkedIn client for just about every mobile platform on the planet, I was surprised to find out that the first Windows Mobile app just became available recently. The app lets you do everything you’d expect, like post updates, view your profile, browse connections, search for contacts, and check out the feed of incoming updates on the professional social network. They’re still working on handling incoming invitations, second-degree connections, and capping number of search results, but for only version 0.8.5, it’ll be awhile before this is out of beta, especially if attention veers towards Windows Phone 7 once it’s out.
Download links, changelogs, and development opportunities for LinkedIn on Windows Mobile are over at Microsoft’s CodePlex.
