Our old friend Xobni has just updated its contact-management app for BlackBerry and the latest version includes more granular control over your contacts.

If you’re not familiar with the company, it makes an Outlook plug-in that scans through your e-mails to automatically cull through for contact information. It recently released a BlackBerry app that aims to make it easier to keep track of the people you contact the most. It doesn’t just bloat up your contact book, as there are algorithms to determine which people are frequently contacted.

The new features in the 1.0.63.1 version are:

• Improved Xobni Rank helping you get to the most important contacts fastest.
• Added seamless deployment and activation via BlackBerry Enterprise Server for our Enterprise customers
• Added support for downloading the client via Opera Mini and Bolt
• Lastly, we gave you more control over your contacts. You can now create new contacts, edit titles, companies, and the rest of your contacts profile information.

The latest version will also fix a few bugs, and you can check out the entire change log here. You can download Xobni directly to your device by going to “bb.xobni.com/download” from the browser.
