Those of you who have been enjoying the official Twitter for BlackBerry app will be happy to hear that there are a few new features on the way tonight. Quoting (i.e. editable retweets), viewing geotagged tweets, picture preview support for Yfrog and TweetPhoto, and navigation shortcuts are all here. A few smaller usability features are also included, like new navigation shortcuts for tabs, privacy warnings in case you’re accidentally tweeting e-mails or phone numbers, and auto-complete suggestions when making an @ mention.
There’s still a few things missing, like geotagging your tweets, multiple account support, and address book integration, but I’m sure they’ll come all in good time.
The update should be pushed out tonight for those who already have the app, and if you don’t, you can nab it at the App World link below.
