The folks at Koodo Mobile have been hard at work lately. Not so long ago they launched their first smartphone, the BlackBerry Curve 8530… and on top of that they’re prepping to launch their new HSPA network.
With things happening at a steady pace over at Koodo, they also have a new flip phone launch in the works worth noting. The Samsung U430 has been spotted in their inventory system, and will be set to replace the recently discontinued Samsung U410.
The U430 was launched by TELUS (parent company) back in the summer of 2009, so its no surprise the U430 is making its way to Koodo’s discount shores. It features a handy flip form factor, 0.3 MP camera Bluetooth and more. It’s a basic offering for sure, so look for this one to be available for very little (if not for free). At the moment the device is available for free on TELUS, if you’re willing to sign a 2 or 3-year deal.
