RIM has just announced the launch of the BlackBerry Curve 8530 in India. Unlike the BlackBerry Bold 9700 launch that saw numerous carriers pick up the device (from Airtel to Vodafone), the Curve 8530 will be available only through Tata Indicom for the moment.
Interestingly, Tata has pointed out that the device is India’s first CDMA device with optical trackpad and WiFi on-board. Other key features include the standard full QWERTY keyboard (of course), 2 megapixel camera with video, optical trackpad, WiFi, microSD expansion, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G and much more.
Pricing for the good folks in India? You’re looking at something around Rs. 18,990 to get your hands on one. For more information, pop on over to Tata.
