HTC “Intruder” could be coming to AT&T

An inventory screen shot obtained by Unwired View shows that AT&T may be getting an HTC handset known as the “Intruder.”

Details are sparse on this one, but it looks like this device will cost $699.99 without a contract and it will run $129.99 with a new, two-year contract. There’s a chance this could also be the leaked HTC Aria, which could be a solid Android handset.

The Aria/Intruder is reportedly a Droid Incredible but a bit smaller and less powerful. The device is expected to have a 2.5-inch or a 2.8-inch display, a 5-megapixel camera, microUSB slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, and optical trackpad. It should run Android 2.1 with the Sense UI on top, as well.

Whatever the Intruder turns out to be, I’m sure it will be a welcome addition to AT&T’s portfolio of handsets. The company currently only has the Motorola BackFlip, which is not that great of a device. Check out our full review of that device to see why it failed to impress. AT&T is supposed to have five Android handsets in the first half of the year, so let’s hope we see this one sooner rather than later.
