SPB Software is bringing its popular puzzler SPB Brain Evolution to yet another platform. After the iPhone, Windows Mobile and Symbian, it’s the Nokia N900 owners that will be able to train their brain and “improve memory, logic, arithmetic and puzzle-solving skills.”
Inside the Maemo version, you will find a suite of 12 mini-games, which have to be played in sequence and only after achieving good results is the next one unlocked. Score sharing is also involved so you can see how you stack against your buddies on SPB’s scoreboard, or beam your high score directly to your followers via Twitter.
Finally, let’s briefly discuss the price. I’m not sure why N900 owners get to play SPB Brain Evolution for free, while other device owners have to pay for the privilege. Is SPB thinking that Maemo users are bunch of geeks who wouldn’t pay for such a game or what? Whatever the case is, it’s good to know that some things are still free in this life. 😉
