Uh Oh, HTC EVO 4G Already Plagued with Glass Issues?

Nothing breaks our hearts more than hearing about a sexy new device like the HTC EVO 4G already suffering hardware issues. According to multiple reports and Android and HTC forums across the web, the glass on the EVO 4G is beginning to separate from the device. Apparently, the glue that binds the two together is coming loose or weakening in certain areas, causing the glass to lift off of the body.

Be sure to check your device and definitely let Sprint and HTC know about it. The last thing you need is for dust or moisture to enter the phone where it shouldn’t, thus bricking or ruining your device. While there isn’t an official recall from HTC, and it doesn’t appear to be a known issue through the more formal channels, a quick glance at discussion boards tells me that it soon will be.

This begs the question: how is your device holding up? Have you noticed this separation and wondered if you were alone? Apparently, you’re not.
