All of us expect to see the first MeeGo-powered smartphone being unveiled at some point this year. It seems we caught an early glimpse of what could come.
Nokia N9 is the name of the game and from what we’ve seen (a video above), there’s something to look forward to. Design wise, it looks like a merger between the Nokia N8 and N97. The front-face looks like the N8, and there’s also a tilting display like the one found in the N97. Hopefully, the N9 will come with a much better keyboard, though — the N97 comes with arguably the worse keyboard a mobile phone could have.
According to the always highly-informed Eldar Murtazin from Mobile-review (link to his tweet), this may actually be a real deal. Unfortunately we don’t have any details to share like what is the screen size and resolution (hopefully WVGA), when it will be announced, how much will it cost and so on. Have no doubts about it, we’ll be listening carefully for “what the street is sayin'” and as soon as we hear something new, you’ll be the first to know. Stay tuned…
