If you’re in Canada and can’t wait to get your hands on the iPhone 4, you may want to contact, or at the very least sign up with your carrier of choice so that you receive updated information from the horse’s mouth as-it-happens. We all know Canada’s ‘Big 3’ (Rogers, Bell and TELUS) are advertising the iPhone 4 as ‘coming soon’, however, one thing you may not have been aware of is the free email/info signup that Rogers and Bell are offering. This is something that is absolutely free (and very easy) to do, and will ensure you hear the latest from your carrier as soon as it happens.
At Rogers, you’ll find an iPhone 4 email signup right here. You’ll need to enter your name, email, city, province and more… But if Rogers is where you think you’ll end up for service on your new device, you might as well signup. Again, be sure to check it out (and sign up) right here.
Over at Bell, you’re going to find much of the same. Enter your name, and email address (among other things) and they will notify you with iPhone 4 news as it pertains to big blue… as it happens. Check out the email signup over at Bell.
Interestingly enough, TELUS does NOT have an email signup on their site. If you click through to check out their ‘coming soon’ page, TELUS simply has a promotional page featuring all of the cool things the new iOS 4 powered device can do. Is this a sign that TELUS will perhaps not be among the first to launch the iPhone 4 in Canada? Maybe Rogers and Bell will lead the pack, with TELUS brining up the rear? Who knows!
In a bit of a side note here… We’ve also heard that Rogers is discontinuing the 8GB iPhone 3G and the HTC Dream. *single tear*. Hard to believe these devices have come and gone on big red, seems like just yesterday these were the ‘must have’ devices. One final *tip of the cap* to the 8GB iPhone 3G and HTC Dream. You guys were awesome. Times change, technology moves forward, and the market demands innovation. Before you now it, iPhone 4 will be a thing of the past 🙂
