One of my favorite shows on the Discovery Channel, ‘Deadliest Catch‘ now has it’s very own BlackBerry Game. How cool/rediculous is that!? Whatever your take on it is, if you feel like hopping in the wheelhouse to do some ‘crabbin’ on your BlackBerry… Off we go!
The ‘Deadliest Catch‘ game for BlackBerry consists of some interesting mini-games. First you choose your boat, your crew and your gear. Then it’s off to the Bering Sea to drop your pots and bring in the big bucks. As you navigate your way around the Bering, be sure to watch out for ice flows and rough seas that could do damage (or sink) your vessel. Drop your pots, let them ‘soak’, and when it comes time, do your best to pull them on board as quickly as possible. You’ll also need to keep an eye on your crew to make sure nobody falls overboard… after all, it IS the ‘Deadliest Catch‘!
There’s lots to this game, and if you are a fan of the show, this is probably a must have. If you do end up purchasing and installing on your BlackBerry, be sure to let us know your first impressions of the game. I have a feeling if you love the show, you’re going to love the game a heck of a lot. Let’s get crabbin’!

Note: Anyone that watches The Deadliest Catch on a regular basis will no doubt know of the passing of Phil Harris, Captain of the Cornelia Marie. The online tributes and outpouring of condolences have been flowing since his passing in February. I never knew Phil personally, but from watching the show I feel like I did. He was one heck of a crabber. R.I.P. Phil.
