The BlackBerry Bold 9650 that recently found its way to Verizon and Sprint will be available on U.S. Cellular in early August, so sayeth their official Facebook page.
Check out our full review of the BlackBerry Bold 9650 here, but the short version is that it’s basically a Bold 9700 for CDMA carriers, with some added application memory. That’s certainly nothing to sneeze at, but it’s nothing really exciting either. The 9650 has a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus, HVGA display, optical trackpad, 512 MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, 3G, and GPS. The 9650’s predecessor, the BlackBerry Tour 9630, has only been on US Cellular since November, but it looks like it will be retiring early to make way for the Bold.
When it comes out, you’ll be able to find the BlackBerry 9670 over here in U.S. Cellular’s online store. We can expect pricing to be in the same $199.99 on contract ballpark.
