Nokia Beta Labs has updated one of the bots included in the Nokia Bots app. It’s Contact Bot which will now work in a similar manner as Shortcut Bot, learning your favorite contacts throughout the day. The idea is to differentiate between “home” and “work” contacts to show users people they talk to the most based on the time of day. In other words, Contact Bot got some location-aware juice, which is a nice touch.
However, Nokia Beta Labs points out that the new location-awareness is still experimental feature and that any feedback is appreciated.
As you may know, Nokia Bots works on the Nokia N97 and N97 mini only, and it’s unclear whether other devices will be supported as well. From what I’ve understood, more powerful phones like the X6 will be included in the mix at some point in the future, but unfortunately that won’t be the case with other, lower-end models like the Nokia 5230 for instance.
You can grab Nokia Bots from here.
