Nokia Beta Labs is out with a new beta version of the Nokia Software Updater software. There are two important enhancements in this release – device application updates and improvements in the user experience.
As far as I’ve understood, similarly to iTunes, the former feature will make sure you’re running the latest versions of your apps by checking in with the Ovi Store. On the other hand, I also applaud Nokia for further improving the UI — tweaking the user interface is essentially an ongoing task.
Now, the plan is to keep the trial going until the end of August. You’re invited to drop your two cents to help make the software better. Critical improvements will be prioritized, though Nokia Beta Labs is also gathering ideas for future releases.
As a reminder, previous Nokia Software Updater update addressed Windows 7 support, improved USB connectivity, and “What’s New” release notes…
