On the heels of last year’s introduction of Android support for the MobiForms Developer rapid application development (RAD) tool, MobiForms announced Android support to the MobiForms Sync Server.
Interested developers should know that MobiForms Sync Server enables bi-directional data replication, synchronisation and offline buffering between just about any master database server and any MobiForms mobile client running on Android and a host of other mobile platforms such as Windows Mobile. Supported back office database servers include Oracle, SQL Server, Access, Sybase, IBM DB2, SQLite, HSQLDB and MySQL.
The new MobiForms Sync Server is part of the MobiForms Advanced Edition and includes the MobiForms Developer, supporting the full mobile development lifecycle for Android database apps…
I could go on and on citing facts from MobiForms’ press release, but let’s face it – only developers care about this stuff (and IntoMobile is more of a general consumer oriented website). If you want to know more, visit MobiForms’ website for more information…
