Dip, Duck and Dodge with Mr. Space for iPhone

Mr. Space for iPhone

Late this past June, I stumbled across (and downloaded) a new and very free game for iPhone named ‘Mr. Space’. Developed by the folks at PONOS, the premise of the game is simple, and for a freebie… it’s actually quite fun.

The game is truly pick up and play. Not much is needed to get you going here. As you can see from the screenshots above, each level features a man standing on-screen (Mr. Space), and it’s your job to move him left or right to safety. Try and line him up where you think there will be space for him… because, as time passes the top and bottom portions of the screen will crush together, killing anything stuck in-between. Most levels feature 2 or so ‘safe’ zones where Mr. Space can escape to. Find these zones, and progress your way through the game. However, as you pass through each level, the time you have to move to safety gets less and less… The pace gets more frantic, and it becomes much harder to move to safety. In the end, it’s just a good, clean (and fun) game for the right price (free).

Again, as you can see from the screenshots above, game controls are self explanitory. So, go ahead and give it a download on your iPhone… and let me know what you think after you’ve given it a whirl. For a freebie, it’s not bad at all.

Note: As with all games, I ask you to leave your comments here if you try it out for yourself. Whenever I pop this one open, I find myself wanting to play it more and more. It’s silly, but the game is very addictive… as you progress and the levels move faster and faster… arg… I think I’m going to play it right now! 🙂
