Gameloft has released the first iPhone 4 update for one of its existing games – Splinter Cell Conviction. As you can imagine, the game takes advantage of the iPhone 4’s higher resolution screen along with a faster CPU to deliver the best possible graphics. Everything seems re-rendered from the scratch for the full effect.
In addition, multi-tasking that’s built inside the iOS 4 is also supported, making sure you can continue playing even after launching another app.
We think this is just a beginning and that soon enough virtually all Gameloft’s titles will be optimized for the latest (and greatest) iPhone to date. After all, many of the game publishers’ titles have been already optimized for the iPad, so porting to the new iPhone shouldn’t be too complicated – or at least that doesn’t sound to complicated for a non-developer me.
As usual, the AppStore link and the price remain the same (see below).
