What do you know – Pantech seems to make dual-SIM phones. I never seen such products from the Korean company and I still have to see them “in person.” However, folks in Italy can not only see two Pantech dual-SIM handsets we’ll talk about here, but can also buy them.
The first phone is the Pantech P1000, which looks like a basic candybar with such features as 1.8-inch 128×160 pixels display, dual-band GSM/EDGE connectivity, FM radio, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack, 1.3-megapixel camera and a microSD card slot.
The other device, Pantech P4000, is way more interesting, sporting a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen, quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity, FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth, 3.2-megapixel camera and a microSD expansion slot. In addition, it comes with a Facebook app, allowing users to keep up with their e-buddies while on the go.
If you’re asking where (aside from Italy) can you buy any of the two Pantech phones, the answer is – we don’t know. Then again, I would expect these two to hit other European markets, now that the launch in Italy is cleared… though I’m just speculating…
