Ultrabrief: Bless the Chinese: Nokia N8 clone that runs Android 2.1

Every time I read about the Nokia N8 I can’t help but think to myself how awesome would be if it simply ran Android. The camera is bad ass. HDMI out … rock. Full Dolby Sound support, even better. But Symbian? Do I really want to go back to that? Kicking and screaming, maybe.

Apparently the Chinese feel the same way because they took a Nokia N8, cloned it, and shoved Android 2.1 on there. Now it’s probably going to run like shit, and the camera isn’t going to be nearly as nice, but if anything it shows how fast the Chinese are at producing pirate gadgets.

The N8 still isn’t even out!
