Time for some quick BlackBerry OS news. Thankfully, what I have for you this morning isn’t a leak, but an actual OFFICIAL release. That’s right, OS 5.0.0.862 has gone all official on Vodafone for the Bold 9700. If you’re on this device, you can gobble up the update right here.
You may recall that 5.0.0.862 leaked for the Bold 9700 earlier this month. If you’ve already updated, good on ya… However, it may be wise to install this official release, especially if you’re on Vodafone. This one has the stamp of approval from the carrier (usually a good thing).
As always, if you do download and install, be sure to let us know if you find any changes or enhancements of note. Also be sure to backup your device and take all necessary precautions before you proceed, please!
