The SocialScope social networking application for BlackBerry has made a few updates in their eternal closed beta, including inbox integration, significantly more Facebook functions (like private messages, full profiles, and notifications), and mute options for particularly annoying friends who don’t quite warrant a block. On top of that, SocialScope is now taking submissions to their beta for Android and iPhone, if you happen to be using either one of those phones.
I haven’t used SocialScope in awhile, as I’m pretty satisfied with the official Twitter and Facebook applications (especially when it comes to address book integration), but multiple account support and a lack of geotagging remain big holes left for third-party apps to fill. @ replies showing up in the BlackBerry Messages app just like direct messages is a nice touch, too.
Hit up SocialScope’s site to apply for the BlackBerry closed beta, and even if you don’t get in, those with access will be able to shoot out invites shortly.
