Business Card Reader 1.4 adds hi-res graphics, ability to add contacts to group and sort card holder contacts

SHAPE Services has yet again proven its business card scanning app is the best in the AppStore — at least we think so. The latest update to the Business Card Reader, now in version 1.4, brings slightly improved graphics (to look better on your brand new iPhone 4), ability to add contacts to groups (i.e. Friends, Colleagues, Partners, etc) and sort Card Holder contacts (by the first or last name, company or by the date the card was taken).

Rest of the app’s features remain unchanged, meaning you can expect the fast, no-BS way to scan business cards and quickly add them to your contacts list — the application will do the text recognition so you don’t have to. Moreover, there’s the built-in LinkedIn search, as well as support for multiple languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Business Card Reader is far from being super affordable in today’s app economy, but it will definitely make your life easier for 6 bucks (that’s $5.99 to be more precise)…
