Layar may go for the Samsung Wave (Bada) smartphone users, but metaio wants its share of the Symbian action…
During the recently held insideAR augmented reality conference in Munich, Germany, metaio unveiled and even demoed junaio for Symbian. The popular AR app was caught running on the brand-new Nokia N8 smartphone, though we still wait to see it hitting the Ovi Store. To be fair, at the moment Nokia’s Symbian^3-powered device is still not widely available, so I guess not that many people care about it. That will definitely change in the coming weeks when I’m sure Ovi Store will be flushed with requests for junaio downloads.
Anyway, this isn’t the first metaio’s app for Symbian smartphones. Back in June, they’ve released Zombie ShootAR, the augmented reality game that (obviously) sees you killing zombies all around you.
