EA Mobile Announces Battlefield Bad Company 2 Headed to iPhone This November

It looks like Gameloft’s Modern Combat series might have some competition in the FPS Army ring as EA Mobile recently announced they’re bringing one of their best-selling from one of its most beloved franchises, Battlefield Bad Company 2, to the iPhone platform next month.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 for the iPhone will offer 14 single-player missions across 5 different battle zones such as jungles, snow, and desert locales. As is expected, there’s sure to be a lot of First-Person shooting in the game, but you’ll also be able to use vehicles such as tanks and helicopters sometime during the game. EA Mobile is promising a “console-level storyline”, so let’s see just how well they can deliver that promise on the iPhone platform.

Not only is there a pretty long single-player campaign, but Battlefield Bad Company 2 will also bring one of the highlights of the Battlefield franchise on any platform you play it on: Multiplayer. That’s right. Battlefield Bad Company 2 will feature a full online multiplayer mode. No other details were given as to what to expect, but seeing as how I still regularly play the multiplayer for Battlefield Bad Company 2 on console to this day, you can expect DICE to offer an experience just as good as the console experience.

No price was announced for Battlefield Bad Company 2, but November is the expected release date window. In other words, you officially have 1 month to work on your current game catalog in order to free up time for this game when it’s released. No excuses!
