As a result of co-operation between the Pittsburgh-based Andy Warhol Museum and mobile marketing experts at Brunner, a new way for exploring the work of the famous artist has been created. Folks from Brunner prepared a layar for Layar Reality Browser, allowing users to explore all things Warhol from the popular augmented reality client.
When inside Layar, users should search for “warhol” and then hold their smartphone in the air and follow the points of interest (POI) that pop up. In addition to Pittsburgh, there is also content to be accessed in the New York City, where Andy got a celebrity status.
You will be able to explore everything from Warhol’s early career, life and death in Pittsburgh to his work, friends, life and mentioned celebrity days in the Big Apple. Those days include the legendary all night disco fetes at Studio 54, frozen hot chocolate parties at Serendipity Café with guests Marilyn and Jackie O and more…
Layar Reality Browser is available for multiple platforms, including Android, iOS and Bada.
